A total boycott of the movie is in order. PERIOD. The time of turning a blind eye to make a buck is over. The movie company has a responsiblity and was negligent. The welfare of the animals it uses should be considered and monitored for the duration of the film.

Money doesn't buy class. I live in Pt. Pleasant and think it is totally ridiculous what towns like nearby Bay Head do to keep people off "THEIR" beaches. If you want to own the land, than you should be 100% responsible for fixing the damage storms do.....NOT the town and its taxpayers.

I guess in the grand scheme of things, the idea isn't all that bad. America does love it's pets; in fact, many consider them part of the family. Although a little morbid sounding initially, in the end it may help some come to terms with the loss of their pet. Now it doesn't have to be forever.

I think he should consider suing the vet for malpractice. The vet should be held accountable for his mistake. Better yet, the vet should own up to his failure to ease this dog's suffering thru euthanasia and offer the dog free veterinary care. as a pet owner I could never trust that vet again.
